Join our Youth Leadership Team! 

Are you a high-school student passionate about supporting peers in finding ways to use technology as a tool while still prioritizing one’s mental health? Apply to be a #GoodforMEdia Youth Leader!

We look forward to hearing from you! 

  • We are a peer-to-peer educational program empowering the next generation of youth with strategies to navigate the online world in balanced ways. We are looking for new team members who are interested in creating tools based on their personal experiences using tech while centering their mental health.

  • Our youth leaders work on a variety of projects, from writing blog posts to creating and designing a deck of Conversation Starter Cards. We also lead workshops at schools and community organizations, talk about tech policy news, and create spaces to be open about our nuanced experiences with social media and technology.

    • Attend weekly virtual meetings on Tuesdays from 4-5 PM (PST)

    • Commit to at least 1 hour per week

    • Contribute to discussions and ongoing projects

    • Support and co-develop youth-centered resources

    • Collaborate with a larger team of youth leaders

    • Lead workshops in community

  • We are looking for young people who…

    • Are high school students

    • Are passionate about finding ways to center youth mental health 

    • Have personal experience navigating social platforms and technology

    • Are available for weekly meetings on Tuesdays 4-5pm (PST)

  • Applications Open: October 13 - November 14, 2025 

    Interviews: December 1 - December 5, 2025 between 2 - 7 PM (PST) (Virtual)

    Follow Up: Applicants will hear back from us with a decision by December 20, 2025. The cohort will begin after the Winter break in January 2026.
